Q. Do ghosts really exist?
A. We don't know the answer to that for sure, and we are not trying to convince anyone that they do. Our experience suggests that there is some kind of energy at work that modern science seems to ignore. We do suggest keeping an open mind, and recommend looking for natural explanations first.
Q. Something strange is happening here. Could I have ghosts?
A. Ordinary causes for the disturbance must first be ruled out. After that, there could be a number of paranormal entities at work. Ghosts are one possibility. You should remember that hauntings, if that's what you have, are not all the same. We don't know what rules govern the spirit world. It may be as complex as the physical world we live in.
Q. Are ghosts dangerous?
A. Not likely. You are more likely to hurt yourself by running away or fainting and hitting your head than from anything a ghost might be able to do to you.
Q. Will ghosts get upset if I talk about them to others?
A. It is highly unlikely that ghosts are that aware of your thoughts and activities, just as you are not that aware of the thoughts and activities of a ghost. You should feel safe and comfortable in your own home. Most hauntings that are reported aren't due to an interactive ghost. But if you desire resolution, it is necessary to confront the situation.
Q. Do ghosts attach themselves to objects or people?
A. Paranormal phenomena can center around a particular object or person, but a ghost is probably attached to a certain spot due to being unaware of their unresolved state, or because of unfinished business. The chances of such an entity seeing an individual and deciding to follow them around is pretty unlikely. Any issues they are working through would take precedence over something in the physical world.
